Lewiston Curling Club Corn Hole League
By: Randy Pyle
For the first time the Lewiston Curling Club was utilized during the summer months. From Aug. 2nd to Oct. 4th, 10 short but fun weeks, the rink area at the clubs house end was transformed into a corn hole court, or Baggo as some may call it. Covering the sand area with foam mats, the walkways and playing surface areas were created. This year's league we had nine teams consisting of two players on a team, a total of 18 enthusiastic bag toss throwers. The competition and the social aspect of the game was the set for a great time by all that competed. By the end of the 10 weeks it came down to two teams in the final exciting match to determine the Lewiston Cornhole League Champion, when the dust settled it was the team of Walt and Mary Keskine hoisting the trophy.
